Et Finis!

Well today is the final day of NaBloPoMo 2017! It’s been a real challenge to write so much in one month and is not something I’ve ever done before.

I want to take this opportunity to give a huge thanks to Blissful Lemon who hosted a NaBloPoMo linkup this year. I came across some great blogs I’d never seen before, particularly hers. Please go and check out her blog 🙂

What have I learnt from NaBloPoMo?

I’ve connected with some great people and their blogs throughout this challenge which has given me more inspiration to keep writing.

The challenge has helped push me to write new content and get more posts ‘out there’ into the world wide web. I’ve surprised myself with the different topics I’ve been able to come up with. I’ll be honest that I’ve scheduled some posts ahead of time just because my life has been so busy lately, but I’m not going to feel guilty about it 😉

I worried that I’d run out of new ideas, but with a bit of researching and taking more notice of the things going on around me I’ve been able to come up with posts that I think fit my blog pretty well.

I also realised that life isn’t all serious and I felt my blog should reflect this with some more light-hearted posts. So, I’ll be trying to produce some more humorous content from now on as well.

Would I do NaBloPoMo again?

Maybe. It’s been a busy period for me as I’ve started a new job and have been trying to finish my thesis, so perhaps it wasn’t the best idea to do it at this point in time!

Hopefully this time next year won’t be so hectic. I’m certainly not planning on writing another thesis! I hope you’ve enjoyed my posts for NaBloPoMo 2017. I may see you next year 😉

Did you do NaBloPoMo this year? How did you find it?

  1. Thanks so much for the shout out. I am definitely going to host again next year. If you change your mind about Blogmas or decide to make a random Christmas-y post, you know where to find the link up. 😉 I am so thankful to have gotten to know you and some of the others last month. This has been such a wonderful experience.

  2. Yeahhhh for writing daily. I still have to catch up on reading all your posts but I will do so in time as I really liked them. I know what you mean with life and busy time of year. I had a few days I really struggled with. But then writing moe days then before is always a win. Enjoy your quieter days, Tobia

  3. Glad you had a good experience with NaBloPoMo! I really enjoyed it too. I also love how it challenged me to write everyday even when I sometimes had no plan at the start of the day, an idea would pop into my head and I would be inspired to write. Good luck on your thesis! I hope that your new job is going well too 🙂
